Graffiti: Time and Elements
VISAC Exhibition - Graffiti: Time and Elements Ursula Abresch is a very active photographer who has taken some unusual and extremely beautiful photographs of graffiti on the side of trains. The photographs are taken up close so that they are almost like abstract paintings, revealing beautiful details that tell the story of the surface of the old trains, giving us an up close view of graffiti. The detailed view she chose to work with allows us to imagine what a graffiti artist might see while working. At the VISAC we are very excited about this upcoming exhibition, which will also be featured on GreatBigCanvas.com. This is an exciting and well-deserved opportunity for Ursula, who has been a dedicated photographer for years and creates expert work which is a great asset to our community. In addition, we expect that the exhibit will create dialogue around graffiti as an art form. The exhibition runs June 13-26 at the VISAC Gallery, 1501 Cedar Ave. in Trail, British Columbia.
